MARCHING ANTS
News Item: Refugees, millions of them now, are in the news every week. Ships
founder ... rescues, drownings, and this week the horror of seventy dead found in a
refrigerated truck outside Vienna.
The earth shakes, the ground trembles and our nest is falling apart. What's
happening? What kind of an earthquake is this? It's again and again and again ...
everyday?
It's not an earthquake. It's humans. They do it.
We have to leave ... go to a safe place.
Mustn't run into those army ants. No matter which side they belong to, they are
deadly.
No you can't take everything. Just what you can carry on your back.
What will we eat?
We'll just have to forage.
I think many of us are going to die.
Yes, many are going to die. If we stay here, all are going to die ...

We have been walking for days ... nothing but devastation.
Don't worry. We will soon come to water. It's better when we cross the water.
How do you know? Across the waters are the ones that bring us this curse.
