News Item: India and Pakistan celebrate 73 years of independence from Britain.
So what are you sitting on the border for?
The truth is I can't make up my mind which way to go.
You mean between India and Pakistan ...
The thing is you get plenty to eat in Pakistan but when they make people disappear
... what chance for a dog I am thinking ...
What about India then?
They don't like minorities at the moment and me a border collie ... there aren't many
of us in the country, so if ever there was a minority, it's me. You see the problem ...
Sure I see your problem. But then you are not particularly religious, why not convert?
You know I am an atheist and a principled one. You also should know those guys
have a thing going for monkeys not dogs ...
Hmm! So you still have a problem. But you;ll starve sitting on the border ...
Oh, it's not too bad. I get fed by the border guards from both sides. The guards
themselves seem pretty friendly to each other.
At a personal level, people often are ...
