BREXITING
News Item: Theresa May, the British PM, suffered another defeat in Parliament. The
Brexiteers would be happy with a hard no-deal Brexit.
Why do we have to have so many British breeds of dogs from Irish Wolfhounds to
little Yorkies. They can't make up their minds about anything.
They can't all be a sensible, hard-working Fox terrier like you Madam. By the way,
congratulations on King your American cousin winning at the Westminster shows.
Well, thank you. He always was a handsome brute. My problem is not just the unruly
pack in our own Westminster but that Polish pomeranian. Given a chance, I'd like to
take a nip at his backside.
You mean Tuskie.
Who else? Who does he think he is? Polish, and forgets what we did for him in the
War.
Can't the German schnauzer help? And what about the French poodle?
Well, she doesn't have much to say anymore and now there are too many yapping
dachshunds. And that poodle with his smooth French ways. He always goes through
his sniffing routine. I must say it's flattering for an old lady like me. But it's all sniff
and no bark, and I can't parlay it into useful action.
A hard Brexit leaves only one option Ma'am.
Don't I know it? That crazy American pit bull. I don't even want to think about it ...
