In this game the prize is behind one of three curtains numbered 1, 2, and 3. To help
the contestant, the TV host places hint boards in front of each curtain.
The board before curtain 1 says that the prize is behind this curtain.
The board before curtain 2 says that the prize is not behind this curtain.
The board before curtain 3 says that the prize is not behind curtain 1.
The host informs the contestant that exactly one of these three statements is true;
the other two are false.
Can the contestant identify the prize curtain, and if so, which one is it?
If you decide to give up, the solution is below.
The prize is behind curtain 2. The first two statements are false. The third
statement is true.
Any other alternative makes more than one statement true.
