A SUNNY DAY
News Item: The Obama family have found another Portuguese Water Dog, a girl
puppy, as companion for Bo. They have named her Sunny.
Whose doggy am I? Well, I don't know. I haven't picked anyone yet. Bo is nice but
he's a dog.
Anyway, we all get up in the morning and the big man smokes a cigarette. I don't like
the smell so I keep away.
Then they let us out to go and I suppose they do too.
Guess what, I come back and there it is ... another cigarette. I hate the smell.
Well we have breakfast. I cadge what I can get but Bo is quicker. And then ... you
guessed it ... another cigarette.
Then he goes off and she goes off and the girls (who I love playing with) go off. And
all kinds of people come to take care of us. I hate the grooming, but I like the walks.
I hear she talks about good eating and good health.
He talks about what he wants to change, but never does. And he hides his cigarettes
sneaking one when no one's around. Just like a little kid. I thought he was the most
powerful man on earth.
Then they all come back up in the evening -- though not all the time. And he keeps
smoking. That's the bad part.
Hey, something I don't understand. We had a President with a cigarette in a holder
held at a jaunty angle. Everybody loved him. He did wonderful things. He didn't
have to hide his habit.
I am not being disloyal or anything, but what's up with my guy ...
