NIGHTMARES OF MY SON (cont'd)

Preface:  The senior Obama (now an angel and a species never before appearing in
this column) continues to brood on his son's wayward behavior.

'Hope' and 'change', 'hope' and 'change', that's all I hear about, when there is not
much of either, just more and more suffering.

The jobs created this week - about half of what his country needs to employ just the
new folks entering the work force.  So what about the unemployed?  They get tired of
looking for work that doesn't exist and take a breather.  Instantly, they are no longer
unemployed because they did not look for work.  What kind of a system is that?

And what is my son doing?  He is pandering to the bankers.  One of his friends runs
a bank, Chase - I wouldn't want to owe them money -- made a $2 billion loss.  Guess
on what -- gambling.  Nothing to make jobs -- I mean a public sector jobs program for,
say, fixing the rotting infrastructure -- but plenty for banks who continue to gamble.

As you see, I am tired of all of this.  One more thing:  why does he have to vacation
with all the very rich in Cape Sardine, or was it Herring, or maybe Cod, I forget.  Or
some fancy Hawaii hotel in winter.  Why doesn't he go where the ordinary folks are --
like renting cabins along the Great Lakes, or going to the National Parks.  No-o, he
likes fancy.  Wish I had been there to bring him up.

I worry about him ... a lot.
