OSCAR RACIST?
News Item: The Oscars are racist scream the complaints from black artists after the
latest awards.
Me! A racist? Just look at me I am yellow. Yellow as in gold. Gold is race neutral.
Everybody loves gold and gold returns the favor ... with some unintended partiality.
And I can tell you something else ... Indians hoard more gold than anyone else and
they range in color from almost white to almost black ... come to think of it, the whole
country is almost.
Anyway, to get to Hollywood ... have you seen the movies lately? I am embarrassed
and I am part and parcel ... just look at them now.
When did you last hear a dialogue longer than some grunts, written by a real
playwright?
So if you want tons of gore -- they must be the largest consumers of tomato ketchup
in the world! -- and the most imaginative ways of slaughtering fellow beings, or boring
comedies without humor or ... -- they should add the TV sitcoms laugh track to
encourage you to laugh at dead lines.
Oh the millions watching across the globe ... yeah, they like the stars, the glamour,
the dresses, the rented jewels, the glamour if you like ...
That's show business! What form it'll take , I dunno ... I am a statue ... shiny, yellow
and no racist.
